Advanced Audio Processing Techniques for WebRTC
Join us for an interesting discussion that will inspire you to think about more than just the video in your WebRTC application!
This episode will focus on unique audio use cases for WebRTC with our industry guests Jim Rand and James Meier of Synervoz. Synervoz is an innovation and software development studio focused on audio, entertainment and online collaboration. They have worked on sound technology with many well known companies such as Bose, Meta, Amazon, and Unity. We will discuss their Switchboard SDK for audio processing and explore audio processing use cases such as watch parties, gaming, and karaoke / music collaboration. In addition, we’ll cover the use of AI in audio processing pipelines.
Jim Rand is Founder and CEO at Synervoz and a two-time Techstars participant. With a background in engineering and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship, Jim has a wide range of experience with everything from voice technology to private equity.
James Meier is CTO at Synervoz and no stranger to audio innovation. Under the moniker ghettocyb.org, James pioneered technology that made him the world’s first cyborg DJ, using an embedded system and head-mounted display which was first displayed at an art party in 2003 and has made him a fixture at electronic music conferences worldwide.
