After a successful first outing last year, we again invited a few members of our expert team for a roundtable to share a piece of WebRTC wisdom with our viewers. Who better to learn from than those who work with WebRTC each and every day?

Alfred Gonzalez discussed refactoring a WebRTC app to scale. Increasing the number of user connections that an application can handle is an important part of our work. Alfred reviewed the problems that can be faced after an infrastructure upgrade, including communication between services and shared how to manage data when many instances of the same services are running.

Jacob Greenway shared his experience with a Javascript API called Offscreen Canvas that allows developers to render the canvas in a separate thread from the main rendering context. This opens up tons of possibilities for performance-reliant applications such as multimedia mixing and games.

Arin also introduced our new WebRTC.ventures Training Program!
