Dennis’s team built a peer-to-peer (P2P) content delivery network (CDN) based on the WebRTC data channel, allowing their customers to install a simple bit of JavaScript on their sites and share content between other site viewers. This WebRTC-based CDN helps their clients reduce the cost of serving images and video on their sites while improving performance under heavy loads.
