WebRTC.venture’s Senior Software Engineer, Alberto Gonzalez Trastoy, will be among the many exciting speakers at Agora’s Real-Time Engagement 2020 Conference. The event is designed to reimagine the future of interactive voice, video, and streaming. RTE2020 will be held October 13 and 14. This year, the conference is virtual — and free!
What makes building a live video application more complicated than a regular web app? Isn’t WebRTC supposed to handle everything for you? In his talk, Alberto will describe some of the unexpected nuances and challenges a web developer may encounter building real-time engagement and communications applications. This includes networking, interoperability, scalability and security. He will also discuss other complexities in building WebRTC applications and offer tools and alternatives to solve them.
Alberto has participated in dozens of RTC projects of all shapes and sizes over his four years with WebRTC.ventures. His telecom engineering background and interest in tech have led him to build many projects for small and big enterprises, including telepresence remote control, live broadcasting games, speech analytics, and many other real-time engagement applications.
